With careful precision, Stiles Middle School Project Lead the Way/Gateway students put engineering skills to practice in a class project. These real-world engineering skills include measurement, orthographic sketches and dimensioning guidelines. The 2016-2017 school year marks Sandra Stewart's 20th year as principal at Cedar Park Middle School. The first female secondary administrator to be hired at Leander ISD, Stewart has played an active role in the founding one of the district's original middle schools, as well as the Guiding Documents that still lead the district today. In a room towering above Jones AT&T stadium, excitement filled the air around the unique array of the gathering’s attendants. A pair of alumni made conversation with an agricultural education professor, while a photographer gazed out of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the field. The dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources entered the room followed by the guest of honor’s husband.
